Q. How much should I spend on marketing my small business?
A. It depends. If it your first year in business you should spend more to get your name known. If you are established but changing your business, branding or adding new products or services, you should invest more to get the word out.

Q. Why do I need a Marketing Plan?
A. It saves you time and money. Without a plan, it is difficult to know which activity to do and when. It saves you time and keeps you focused. It saves you money because you have identified your target market and strategy, and following the plan, you will engage in the right activities to accomplish your goals.

Q. Why do I need a Marketing Coach-sultant?™
A. A consultant researches and recommends. A counselor raises awareness and helps you select ways to accomplish your goals. A coach encourages you to implement your plan. A Marketing Coach-sultant™ combines the best of all these.

Q. Can your service be customized to my business?
A. Sure! No one marketing strategy or tactic is best for every business. It is not unusual to see great gains by efficiently implementing one simple strategy.

Q. Who are your clients?
A. My clients are motivated small to mid-sized business owners. Some have specific goals in mind but many need direction and creative marketing ideas to get them to the next level. My clients range from accountants and attorneys to waste haulers.

Q. What qualifies you as a Marketing Coach-sultant ™?
A. I have a diverse marketing background for over 25 years including retail, real estate and medical marketing. Since 1988, I have been a business owner working one-on-one with hundreds of business owners to maximize their marketing. I have trained hundreds of business owners through seminars. I keep current on the latest information through trade publications, books and listening to tapes and attending seminars.

Q. What if you have not worked with my type of business?
A. I do not need to know your business. I learn about your business from you and overlay my marketing knowledge on top of that. Usually people are embroiled in their own business and need a fresh, unbiased perspective to create a success.
